Chobani Opens First Yogurt Bar In Big Apple

New York, NY (WIBX) - The top maker of Greek yogurt in America is entering new territory as Chobani opens its first yogurt bar in New York City today. 

It's located in Manhattan's trendy SoHo neighborhood.

Founder and CEO Hamdi Ulukaya says it's been an incredible journey from a very modest beginning in 2007 to where the company is now.

Chobani now boasts some 1,200 employees.

The yogurt maker ships at least a million and a half cases of Chobani to grocers across the U.S. each week.
