Darnell Howard Sentenced In Rome Murder

The man found guilty of killing a Rome woman in 2014 has received the maximum prison term.

Darnell Howard was sentenced to 25 years to life in Oneida County Court today.

Howard was found guilty of second-degree murder and reckless endangerment in the shooting death of Rose Ortiz outside of Bucky's Restaurant in Rome in October of 2014.
