Dog Killed in Hit and Run Accident in Ilion

Ilion Police are investigating a sad incident in which a dog was fatally struck and killed by a motorist.

According to the Ilion Police Facebook page, the 'hit and run' accident occurred on Thursday, October 4th at approximately 8:05 p.m. on the State Route 5s Ramp from Central Avenue.

One witness at the scene described the vehicle in question as a purple Honda Accord. Police ask anyone with information on this incident to please contact them via their Facebook Inbox.
