Five Utica teens are facing felony robbery charges.

A 16 year-old boy was skateboarding in a parking lot on Whitesboro Street when he was approached by seven to eight other teens Monday afternoon.

The victim was knocked off his skateboard by the boys, then punched and kicked. During the incident, the group allegedly tried to take the boy's backpack, but he held onto it.

His skateboard was stolen and he was later taken to the hospital for head and back injuries.

Those arrested range in age from 16 to 18 and are listed below.
