Baltimore State's Attorney says the death of Freddie Gray was a homicide.

Marilyn Mosby said at a press briefing today that there is probable cause to file charges against officers in the case.  She added that the officers who apprehended Gray arrested him illegally and did not properly secure him with a seatbelt in the police van.

Charges against six officers connected with the death of Gray include murder, manslaughter and misconduct.  Warrants have been issued for the arrest of the charged officers.

Mosby also announced she had met with Gray's family this morning and told them that "no one is above the law."

Gray's death from a spinal injury suffered during his arrest has sparked multiple protests in Baltimore and other cities.
