Hanna, Bishop Form NY Defense Working Group

Washington, DC  (WIBX) -Congressmen Richard Hanna and Tim Bishop have formed a Congressional Working Group aimed at promoting and protecting military facilities across New York state.With possible impending defense cuts, Hanna and Bishop are spearheading a bipartisan alliance to highlight the value of New York's defense assets.

It's anticipated that a new Base Realignment and Closure process could take place in 2015

Among the military facilities in New York are the Air Force Research Lab in Rome and Fort Drum in Watertown.
