Congressman Richard Hanna was at the HP Hood plant in Oneida to talk about the recently passed Farm Bill.

Hanna says the bill sets the agenda for the next five years and gives stability to New York farmers.

Hanna says the Farm Bill repeals outdated government programs while reforming, streamlining and consolidating others.

He says the bill also reforms and reauthorizes the Supplemental Nutrition or SNAP Program, while addressing fraud and misuse in the system.

Hanna was joined by HP Hood executives and representatives from the New York Farm Bureau.
