Harness Racing Season At Vernon Downs Opens On Friday

The 2018 harness racing season gets underway at Vernon Downs on Friday night. with a 6:10 post time

Highlights of the 2018 racing season include:

• Kentucky Derby Day on Saturday, May 5th with a 4:30 post time
• Memorial Day will feature the Empire Breeders Classic Finals with a post time of 1:05
• July 4th will feature a fireworks display with racing beginning at 6:10.

On Friday, July 27th, Wynonna and the Big Noise will perform a concert to benefit the Food Bank of Central New York.  Tickets are $15.

Vernon Downs will feature 70 days of racing.  The season will run through November 3rd.
