Tim Heiman returns to the broadcast booth Thursday night when the Binghamton Rumble Ponies open their Eastern League season at New Hampshire.  Heiman will once again call the play-by-play action of Binghamton's entire schedule either on News Radio 1290 WNBF or CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM.

Heiman will team up with Jonny Wincott for home games and occasional road contests. Bill Orband will provide color commentary for many of Binghamton's home games.

The popular Heiman interned with the Binghamton Mets in 2011 and when broadcast "voice" Matt McCabe left to attend law school Heiman stepped in for the 2012 campaign and begins his sixth season as Binghamton's lead broadcaster.

Heiman, a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2010, has also been the play-by-play voice of Binghamton University women's basketball and during the 2016-17 season served as the school's television play-by-play broadcaster for Binghamton games on ESPN.
