Ilion Man Arrested Following Two Separate Domestic Disturbances

The Ilion Police Department arrested 47-year-old Barry Watson on assault charges. The arrest was made following two separate physical domestic disturbances. Watson is facing several charges.

It is alleged that Watson destroyed the property of another, placed his hands around the neck of the victim obstructing their breathing, and intentionally caused physical injury to the individual during the incident. The investigation revealed one victim, but their name is not being released at this time.

Barry Watson of Ilion is facing charges for Assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, 2 counts of criminal mischief, and harassment. He was remanded to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility, and is due back in court on January 27th, 2017.
