Ilion Woman Arrested For Assault

A woman in Ilion, New York was arrested following an investigation into an incident that happened in early October.

Thirty year-old Vanessa A. Kennedy allegedly broke the wrist of another person during what police are describing as a bar fight at JD's Creekside Lounge on Main Street West in Ilion.  The fight took place on October 5, 2013 and she was arrested on November 2, 2013.

She is now facing a charge of felony assault in the second degree.

Kennedy was released on $3,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Village of Ilion Court in court on December 12, 2013.
