The Chase for the Sprint Cup begins Sunday in Chicago with the Geico 400 at Chicagoland Speedway.

Joey Logano - who is sixth in the Sprint Cup standings - has the pole with teammate Brad Keselowski staring next to him the front row.

The Motor Racing Network's coverage of the first of ten Chase races begins at 1:00 (est) on WIBX and WIBX950.com.

This year's Chase will be like no other, because instead of twelve driver's racing for the cup, there are 13.

The Clint Bowyer intentional spin-out to help a teammate last week was punished by NASCAR officials, who, this week, removed Martin Truex Jr. from the Chase, inserted Ryan Newman and took the unprecedented step of adding a driver - Jeff Gordon - saying he faced an unfair disadvantage based on the actions of other racing teams.

NASCAR has also implemented a new rule that basically you must race at 100% and try to finish in the best position you can.
