Man Arrested After Police Search Home In Lee

A man was arrested after police allegedly found a weapon and ammunition inside a home on Route 26 in the Town of Lee.

Members of the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, the Drug Enforcement Task Force and the U.S Marshal's Regional Fugitive Task Force had entered the home looking for a person wanted on a Utica City Court Warrant.

30-year old Nathaniel Garrett was taken into custody after investigaors found a loaded semi-automatic pistol magazine and a semi-automatic pistol inside the home.

Authorities say Garrett is under the supervison of NYS Parole.

The person who police were looking for was not located at the residence.

The investigation is continuing.
