[VIDEO] Missing Hiker Donald Combs Found Alive

The Sauquoit man who has been missing for 8 days after going camping alone in Bear Creek Forest has been found alive.

State Police Captain Francis Coots says 84 year old Donald Combs was located by k-9 units about a mile and a half from a family camp site that he has been visiting since the 1970's.

Combs was responsive and not injured, but police say he was severely dehydrated and too weak to move on his own.

Combs was helicoptered out of the forest to an ambulance that brought him to St. Luke's hospital for evaluation and treatment, but police expect him to make a full recovery.
