
No Tax Increase In Rome’s Proposed 2018 Budget
Rome Mayor Jacqueline Izzo presented her 2018 budget proposal to the Common Council on Wednesday night.
The spending plans totals just over $43 million and contains no property tax increase.
The budget increases spending by $681,000 over this year.
The Common Council has 30 days to approve a budget or the mayor's budget will go into effect.
A public hearing on the proposed budget will take place on October 11th at 6:45.
