Oneida County Community Health Assessment Discussed

Representatives from numerous health care agencies gathered at Harts Hill Inn in Whitesboro today to discuss the most important health issues facing the community.

Krista Drake is a Public Health Educator with the Oneida County Health Department.

She says many of the issues focused around the New York State prevention agenda, including chronic disease, mental health, substance abuse and healthy environment

Drake says the information gathered today will be used in Oneida County's Community Health Assessment to be completed in the fall.
