Oneida County Man Charged with DWI Following Accident

An Oneida County man is facing Aggravated DWI charges following an accident on Buck Hill Road in Steuben.

An investigation revealed 33-year-old Nicholas Martin of Westernville lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree.

Martin was not injured in the crash, but Troopers discovered a strong odor of alcohol coming from Martin during an interview.

Martin was subsequently arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated. Tests determined his BAC to be .26%. He has been remanded to Oneida County Jail in lieu of bail.
