Students at Proctor High School in Utica will be leading a march for gun control on Saturday.

The march will begin at noon at Proctor and will end at Oneida Square

There will be speeches from students before the march begins and a rally at Oneida Square after the march.

Student speakers will be joined by community members, including a local mother who has lost her son to gun violence.

The march is part of a nationwide series of "March for Our Lives" events dedicated to ending the epidemic of gun violence in America.
