Rome Man Arrested For Marijuana Possession

A Rome man has been arrested for possessing and allegedly selling more than $65,000 of marijuana.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's office Charles Sheppard, 38, of Fisk Ave was found to have more than 10 pounds of marijuana in his 2nd floor apartment.

Sheppard is currently being held in the Rome City Police lockup pending arraignment.

The arrest is the result of a 5 month investigation into Sheppard's alleged sale of the drug.
