Rome Police Find Alleged Meth Lab Along The Mohawk River
Rome Police say a check of a campfire along the Mohawk River led to the discovery of an alleged Meth lab and the arrest of two men.
Police say they found a makeshift campsite in the area of the Chestnut Street bridge, along with an active Meth lab.
54-year old Larry Mitchell was arrested and charged with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine. 40-year old Alan Capece was charged with false personation for allegedly giving police a false name.
Both men told police they are homeless.
