Sneaks and Cleats Collection Today at Boilermaker Public Market
As central New York says goodbye to summer sports and recreation, the Boilermaker Road Race is asking you to consider donating some of your older equipment.
A 'Sneaks and Cleats' collection is going on this afternoon (Sept. 12) at the Boilermaker Public Market off of Court Street. Jordan Peters with the Boilermaker says they'll collect gently used sports equipment and donate the items to local kids who can't afford new ones.
The photo above was taken from a 'Skates and Sneaks' collection held last winter in conjunction with the Boilermaker Road Race and the Utica Comets.
