Soaring Comets Run Win Streak To 5

The Utica Comets scored three victories over the weekend to run to their winning streak to a season high five games.

Utica skated to wins against the Rochester Americans on Friday night at the Utica AUD (4-2), and a pair road wins on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon - beating Thruway rival Syracuse (4-2) and Rochester (4-1), respectively.

The winning streak has the Comets (39-19-6-1) not only in first in the North Division standings, but also atop the entire Western Conference.

Utica has a three-game homestand coming up starting this weekend: vs. Oklahoma City on Friday night, vs. Rockford on Saturday and at the AUD against Rochester next Wednesday (4/1).
