State Police Find Meth Labs In Ava And Lee

Two men were arrested after State Police found alleged meth labs in the Towns of Lee and Ava.

22-year old William McCumbers and 26-year old Robert Platt are charged with unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine.

Troopers were responding to a harassment complaint at a home on Capron Road in Lee where they found the first meth operation in a bedroom.

As a result of the investigation, police say another meth lab was discovered at a home on Kerber Road in Ava.

Police say they also found four additional dump sites in the Ava area.
