Mark Blask

Little Falls Mayor Mark Blask has great memories of professional baseball in Little Falls. In part, because his dad, Maynard Blask was a part owner and general manager of the Class A NY Penn League Little Falls Mets in the early days. The Mets played at Veteran's Memorial Park there from 1977 until 1988.

A Quiet Place writer/director and co-star, John Krasinski, was in Little Falls on Tuesday, scouting out filming locations for his sequel to the sci-fi thriller that he and his wife Emily Blunt starred in last year. Much of the movie, which performed exceptionally well at the box office, was filmed in and around Little Falls, in 2017 and 2018.

The Mayor of Little Falls, Mark Blask, announced a $470 thousand dollar grant for infrastructure this week. The moon ey will be used to offset costs from pervious flooding, and make improvements to prevent future flood damage.

A major concern for municipalities across the country is an aging infrastructure. The second smallest city in New York State recognizes this issue and that's why a grant recently received will help immensely.

The movie trailer has been released for A Quiet Place, the movie partially shot in the city of Little Falls this fall. The movie, starring John Krasinski of NBC's The Office and his wife, Emily Blunt, is scheduled for a 2018 release.
