Three community meetings will be held over the next the next few weeks on the proposed 2014-15 Utica budget.

Mayor Robert Palmieri and his department heads will be joining Councilman Ed Bucciero, Chairman of the Finance Committee, to answer questions from the public.

The first meeting will be held on Monday at the North Utica Senior Center at 6:30.

Meetings will also take place at the West Utica Concerned Citizens meeting on Wednesday and on March 10th at the South Utica Neighborhood Association meeting.

Palmieri released his budget proposal on Thursday, which would increase property taxes by nearly 9%.
