Two Women Facing Drug Charges

Two women are facing charges after members of the Oneida County Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant at a home in the Town of Lee.

19-year old Sharice Whaley of Canastota and 23-year old Katie Burns of Frankfort were each charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Investigators say they found cocaine, drug paraphernalia and two long guns inside the home on Route 26.

Both women were sent to the Oneida County jail on $10,000 bail each.
