USA Luge Slider Search Returning To Utica [VIDEO]

After a two-year absence, the USA Luge Summer Slider Search will be returning to Utica.

The event will take place on August 16th and 17th on Cornelia Street.

Clinics will be held from 9:00 to noon and 2:00 to 5:00 both days and are open to all Oneida County youth ages 9 to 13.

Olympic Bronze Medalist Erin Hamlin of Remsen began her luge career at a Slider Search in Syracuse in 1999.

Hamlin, along with USA Luge National Team coaches, will be on hand for the Slider Search.

Those who show the most promise will be invited to train in Lake Placid or Park City, Utah.
