Vernon Downs Presents $50,000 Check To American Red Cross

The Chairman of Racing and Entertainment at Vernon Downs presented a check for $50,000 to the American Red Cross today to help with flood relief efforts.

Jeff Gural says last month, any patron at the Vernon Downs Hotel and Casino who donated $5 got a free buffet.

Gural rounded up the donations to $50,000..

The American Red Cross Central New York Region Chapter helped over 2,400 local families affected by the summer flooding.
