Woman Dies After Being Stabbed Outside Rochester Home

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Police say a woman has died after being stabbed outside a home on a Rochester street.

Authorities say officers were called to an address on Seward Street late Monday night. When they arrived they learned that a woman had suffered at least one puncture wound to her upper body and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in a private vehicle.

Police say she was pronounced dead about an hour later.

Officials aren't releasing her name until family members are notified.

An investigation is ongoing.
