Alexandra Kogut Memorial 5K Takes Place This Weekend

Organizer Jenifer Bowman is hoping that the Alexandra Kogut Memorial 5K helps keep the memory of the young woman for whom it is named alive.

Those wishing to run can register on the day of the event, although pre-registration is encouraged.  Anyone who will not be in the area on Saturday, October 12, 2013 but who still want to run can do a satellite run.  Details of that are online at www.ak5k.org.

Alexandra Kogut is the SUNY Brockport student killed in her dorm room in September 2012.  Her boyfriend, Clayton Whittemore, is facing charges for allegedly killing her.
