Bill Morehouse Says He Will Be Utica’s Comptroller For $1 Salary And No Health Insurance If Elected [AUDIO]
On WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning Utica Common Council President and Comptroller Candidate Bill Morehouse called in during fellow council member Joe Marino's appearance to make a surprising announcement.
Morehouse says, if elected, he will do the Comptroller's job for a salary of one dollar and will not accept health insurance from the City of Utica.
Morehouse is opposed by Councilman James Zecca. The candidates will participate in a debate coordinated by the League of Women Voters on October 8, 2013.
