The Canadian women's hockey team pulled off what you could call a miracle in the Gold Medal game to earn a fourth consecutive gold.

The final 3-2 in overtime after the American women had all but won it.

Marie-Philip Poulin drilled a power play goal into the back of the net with just 5 seconds left on the penalty in the extra session to complete a dramatic comeback and shock the Americans.

Trailing 2-0 with 3:30 to go in regulation, Brianne Jenner put team Canada on the board  to cut the deficit in half. Then, after team USA had an empty net chance to ice the gold medal clink off the post, Poulin scored the equalizer with just 55 second remaining to force OT.

USA's Megan Duggan broke a scoreless tie in the second period and Alex Carpenter added what seemed to be a key insurance goal early-on in the third to account for the two US goals.

The USA women will have to settle for silver in consecutive Olympic finals - both losses coming to the Canadians. Despite the achievement, you can expect this loss will haunt them for some time.
