Fatal Hit & Run on NYS Thruway

Verona, NY (WIBX) -State Police are investigating a fatal hit and run accident that happened on the NY State Thruway. According to authorities, one person is dead after falling out the back door of a shuttle bus limousine, while the vehicle was in motion.

Investigators say the passenger was then struck and killed by a passing motorist, who fled the scene. The accident happened around 2:30 yesterday morning and State Police are asking for your help. Anyone with any information can contact State Police Investigator Mark Nell at 315-366-6000.
