Today we will speak with Utica Comptroller Bill Morehouse, comedian Dan Finnerty from 'The Hangover,' and Heidelberg Bread is in studio.
6 AM Hour
- Major League All-Star game was last night and the American league took the title. Also, Amazon and Walmart are having huge online sales.
- Andrew has a new addition to his booth and a woman was shop lifting baby supplies in a Walmart and the police officer ended up paying for those supplies. Is there more to this story?
- Peter calls up to talk about Government services and "Hood Rats." The discussion continues on the story of the woman with 6 children who shoplifted for her children.
- The conversation carries over into our segment with Peter Franklin, the Gabby Cabby, and we then get to his True Tales from New York City.
7 AM Hour
- We talk about some headlines including a new Siri type assistant, Andrew gets spooked by a spider, Comcast has announced that they are doing high speed fiberoptic service for a cost, and more.
- Bill Morehouse is the Comptroller for the City of Utica and he is on to talk about the fact that Utica residents can now pay their city taxes online. He also talks about the financial state of the city and what's going on in his office.
- Comedian and Actor Dan Finnerty joins us to talk about his band, 'The Dan Band,' and the release of their new album.
8 AM Hour
- Dave Lupinski is with the Oneida/Herkimer Solid Waste Authority. Dave is on to talk to us about the recycling of old electronics. We also take calls from folks on recycling questions. We discuss everything from compost to rubber tire recycling.
- We talk more about recycling and disposal of things like eggs and other food and materials. We also talk about Bill Cosby and his guilt or innocence and Whoopi Goldberg's take on it.
- We have Boyd Bissell, owner of Heidelberg Bread, and Kevin Phillips in to talk about the new location at the Pumpkin Patch in Herkimer. We also talk about how awesome his bread is and the demand for it in major grocery stores.
