Mohawk Valley Health System will be hosting an information and community dialogue event regarding the new Downtown Utica hospital.

It will take place on January 10th at the Radisson Hotel in Utica.

Two sessions will be held -- the first from 1:00 to 4:00 p.n. and the second from 5:00 to 8:00 p.n.

MVHS officials say the goal of the event is to provide a forum for community members to receive a project update and enable them to participate in the development of the project's guiding principles.

“This new health campus is an exciting opportunity for our region and we want the community to be involved,” said Scott H. Perra,  president/CEO of MVHS. “The guiding principles identified at this event will highlight key areas that our Project Steering Committee will consider as the development process advances.”

The event is one of many community input opportunities planned as the project advances.
