Picente Invites Global Tech Company Foxconn To Visit Marcy

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente is inviting global technology company Foxconn to visit the area.

According to national news reports, Foxconn is interested in building a flat-panel display screen factory in the United States and is exploring options that are available.

Picente says with a site ready to go in Marcy and a $600 million commitment from the state behind it, he's invited a Foxconn representative to visit the site.

The county executive says his office will continue to be proactive in following every lead that presents itself on a potential tenant for the Marcy Nanosite, and not just depend solely on the State of New York.
