Spoiler Alert: If you don't want to know the outcome of Steven Avery's trial in the Netflix series Making A Murder, stop right here.

I recently watched 7 of the 10 episodes of the documentary Making A Murder and, well, a good friend of mine spilled the beans on the verdict on Facebook before I got to watch the outcome. But, to be honest, I assumed he was going to be found guilty based on the direction the series was going.

It's a horrible story of a Wisconsin man who was wrongfully convicted of a sexual assault. After DNA evidence exonerated him, the state legislature was in the process of making a law in Avery's name to help prevent future wrongful convictions when he is again arrested, this time for murder. While I don't believe Avery killed anyone, I acknowledge that the documentary was laying out the case for his innocence. So maybe they didn't present the prosecutions case as well as the prosecution did to the jury. Having said that, I personally believe they laid out a pretty damn defense, and certainly raised enough reasonable doubt to find him not guilty. Not to mention what sure seemed to be blatant missteps by authorities, if not an total frame job.

We discussed the series Monday on WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning:
