Seward Announces Cancer He Fought In 2016 Has Returned
State Senator James Seward says he was recently advised by his physicians that the cancer he first experienced in 2016 has recurred.
Seward underwent surgery for bladder cancer in April of 2016.
He says a series of treatments over the next several weeks will limit his availability and curtail his normal district schedule.
Seward says his offices will remain open and his staff will continue to assist constituents with their state-related needs.
“I look forward to completion of my treatment protocol and returning shortly to serve the good people of the 51st Senatorial District as we anticipate the start of the new legislative session”said Seward.
