UPD: Death Of 14-Year-Old Boy Being Investigated

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police are reporting the death of a 14-year-old boy. Officials are calling it an "Unattended Death" that happened this morning. Public Information Officer, Sergeant Steve Hauck says the department is awaiting the autopsy and toxicology results to determine the cause of death. Officials say there are too many open questions at this time to release anymore information other than that their investigation into the death of the minor just started.

They say the family is obviously distraught and are being sensitive to their needs at this time and will release information pending the results of their investigation. According to the official, the death occurred at Mohawk Street in Utica. WIBX will have more information as it becomes available.
