Verona Woman Charged In Rollover Accident

Verona, NY (WIBX) - A Verona woman is facing charges in connection with an accident that injured three young children.

State Police say 25-year old Ashley Kivler lost control of her SUV on Route 365 in Rome attempting to swerve from the passing lane into the driving lane as she approached a slower moving vehicle.

The vehicle left the road and overturned several times.

Kivler's 7-year old son, who was not properly secured, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered a fractured left leg.

Two other smaller children suffered minor injuries.

Kivler sustained a fractured shoulder and ankle and a passenger sustained a broken neck and wrist.

Kivler was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and several traffic violations.
