Rome Man Accused Of Inappropriate Contact With A Minor

A Rome man has been arrested for allegedly having inappropriate contact with a 14 year old girl in the City of Rome.

Investigators with the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center have charged 21-year old Joshua Jessop with endangering the welfare of a child.

An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim, who has also been offered counseling services through the CAC.

The Child Advocacy Center was assisted in their investigation by members of the Rome Police Department.
