Tax Deadline Day Is Here

Millions of people across the country will be rushing to get their taxes in before tonight's deadline.

The tax returns must be filed electronically or postmarked by 11:59 tonight.

Those who don't think they'll make the deadline can file for an extension.

That'll push the deadline back six months, to October 15th.

The main Utica Post Office on Pitcher Street will NOT be open extended hour to accomodate last-minute filers.

The office will close at 5:30.

Meanwhile, the Post Office on Kernan Street will be open until 4:30, while the downtown Utica Post Office will close at 5:30.
