Two Charged In Herkimer Larceny

Two people were arrested after Herkimer Police found three rifles reported stolen from a vehicle in the village.

28-year old Ashley Lindsay of Richfield Springs and 33-year old Brian Leuenberger of Herkimer were charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property.

Police say  Lindsay and Leuenberger were also charged in regards to a separate case involving a stolen credit card.

Other larcenies from vehicles reported in Herkimer last week are still under investigation and additional arrests may be coming.
