Which High School Football Teams Advanced and Where They’ll Play This Weekend
It was a busy weekend of high school football and the stage is now set for the Section III semi-finals.
The area's top seeds each advanced, including Proctor, Oneida, and Dolgeville. Frankfort, New Hartford, Waterville, Herkimer, Whitesboro, West Canada and South Lewis also won their games. Mt. Markham, Central Valley Academy and Sauquoit each saw their seasons come to an end on Friday night.
The semi-final games are scheduled for Friday and Saturday. Winners will advance to the Section III finals at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse on November 5th.
This weekend's games feature a few key rematches. Proctor will face Baldwinsville on Saturday for their second meeting of the season. Proctor won that game 34-17 back on October 4th. Meanwhile, in a key Class D matchup, top seed Dolgeville takes on Frankfort Schuyler for the seconds time this season. Frankfort beat Dolgeville 36-22.
