Level 2 Sex Offender Arrested

A registered Level 2 sex offender has been arrested by the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.

34-year old John Minckler of Cleveland, New York is charged with predatory sexual assault against a child.

He was previously arrested in October for similar offenses against the same victim in Oswego County.

Investigators says during that arrest, Minckler tried to elude police by ramming a State Police vehicle.

A chase ensued and was terminated because of the high rate of speed.  .

Minckler was taken into custody a short time later after he lost control of his vehicle and collided with two utility poles.
