State Police Arrest Fugitive From Justice

Marcy, NY (WIBX) - An out-of-state active arrest warrant stopped a man from being released locally from prison.

Russell Harrod was being released from Midstate Correctional Facility when police found out he was wanted in Indiana for possession of cocaine. State Police in Marcy arrested Harrod and charged him as a Fugitive from Justice.

Harrod was being held in Midstate on an attempted robbery charge.

He's still in police custody.
