Westmoreland Man Charged With Abusing Young Boy

A Westmoreland man is accused of having sexual contact with a boy under the age of 11.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center says 21-year old Brandon Weber was arrested following an investigation into an incident that happened this month in Rome.

Weber is charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony.

An order of protection was issued by the court on behalf of the victim.  The victim was also offered services through the Child Advocacy Center.
