Today we will talk with Congressman Richard Hanna, the Roller Derby girls, and we'll sample our Craft Beer of the Week with Naegele!
6 AM Hour
- Former President George H. Bush broke a bone in his neck, the big sports story of the night was the ESPY Awards, and President Obama delivers speech on Iran.
- Mike Jones, the man who is accused of sexual misconduct in an alleged incident with a cow, has a warrant out for his arrest. He failed to appear for his court appearance in the town of Litchfield.
- When will they announce jobs coming to Nano at SUNY Poly? You could win $500 if you guess the date of the announcement of 1,000 jobs.
- We reveal what's in the container and we talk about the story of a woman and her daughter attempting to do heroin in the Oneida County office building. We play a special "Mama" edition of the music game in honor of it.
7 AM Hour
- In Salt Lake City a Federal Judge has ordered the state of Utah to list a lesbian couple as the parents of a newborn child on the child's birth certificate. They used a sperm donor and wanted them legally put on the document as the parents. This is the first of it's kind since same-sex marriage was legalized.
- We talk to Dr. Gerald Edelman about "Food Porn" and the healthiness of fast food breakfast.
- We talk to Congressman Richard Hanna about a number of topics including the Iran Deal, the Adirondack Railroad, Meat labeling, the Confederate flag, and more.
8 AM Hour
- In studio are Texas Terror, Labeda, and Sheeza Superfreak. They are part of a women's Roller Derby team and they have an event coming up in New Hartford this Saturday at 6 p.m. at the New Hartford REC Center.
- John Naegele and Rick Lewis are in to talk the Craft Beer of the Week and this week's beer is from The Adirondack Brewing Company titled 'Headwater Heff Beer.'
- Rick Lewis talks about his TV show about local craft breweries called 'The Beer Next Door.' We also talk about the Budweiser Clydesdales coming down Varrick St. and the slight controversy it's "brewing."
- We talk a little more about Budweiser commercials and we also talk about the property on the Parkway that is being demolished.
