The historic visit by President Donald Trump to downtown Utica on Monday has grabbed the attention of locals both pro and con and much of the action will be around Franklin Square in Utica. Protestors and supporters alike are expected to promote their agenda on Monday afternoon and WIBX's First News with Keeler will broadcast special live coverage beginning at 4 p.m. from Nancy L. Ford Photography studios in Franklin Square. The President is expected to arrive in Utica sometime after 4 p.m. via a motorcade after landing Air Force One at Griffis International Airport in Rome.

The President is appearing at a Claudia Tenney Fundraiser that is by invite only with admission tickets ranging from $1000 to $15,000; however, invitees have claimed that discount tickets were being offered to Friends of Tenney over the weekend. Meanwhile, Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi will be holding his own fundraiser that is open to the public at the Chesterfield Restaurant on Bleecker Street in East Utica.
